1 hour 10 min run - 7.9 miles total
avg: 8.52 min miles, 142 bpm.
max: 6.25 min miles, 150 bpm
my first run at that speed for that time, it felt alright, legs felt a little bit tired at the end but other than that there was no problem.
i think i should have done a quicker run at maybe 148 bpm today and then do track session tomorrow and then on wednesday run at 142 bpm pace and then 160 bpm on thursday as i can see wednesday wanting to be a slower recovery run. but then i suppose i can do it in a 2 week plan, so this week run at around 142 bpm on monday and wednesday, and then next week run at around 148 bpm on monday and 142 wednesday or 148 on both monday and wednesday.

I am not sure that you will get that much different loading between 142 and 148 for the body to notice. A fresh day and tired day could be both. I think that you need to think more of 140 minus and 150+ to see a real difference overall. Look back at the levels I wrote to you about and then talk to me a bit more.
